Won't be there for a week

Journal Entry: Sat Mar 4, 2006, 11:04 AM
Mates, I'm in a total euforia - tomorrow I'm going to London! Still can't believe it. I'm going with some mates from my school. It'll be fun, I'm sure. If you'll hear about some international scandal then think of me :D
I know I will leave something incredibly important thing here. Never mind.
So, that's all. If I'll get near to a computer I'll write.

Ooh, I hated the ending. Raoul's character was completely different from Leroux, and even then he acted out of character with himself>< But yeah, I hated her so much. I liked Persia a lot, but then I have a soft spot for Erik at that age, and Nadir is one of the best characters. The Persian was one of the most intriguing characters in the original, and Nadir, as he is, reminds me a bit of Basil Hallward...Is that just me?^^ I hated Christine. And I hated the ending, as I said...^^ But then I'm ridiculous. And the religious undercurrent bothered me, but then I don't like that sort of thing anyway- religion in books.

I'm again! I had had not enough time in the last days but now I'm here. Beloved Deviantart! ^^
The book was fantastic!! What can I say? I was inspired by it. His childhood was the best, I guess, Madelein's point of view. And Persa. And Paris. And...
I don't know, I think Christine wasn't as bad as I thought but Raoul was terrible. He was pompous and cocky. Christine was..well...like a spoiled little girl. Like Luciana. The end was too romantic but I still like the way it is written.^^ Need some squish. :P

I understand lack of time. >< It is horrible.
Well, I don't have anything against religions. I personally find religions interesting though technically I don't follow one, but I do believe in spirituality I don't believe everything...
Actually, Dorian is a dandy, which is the same as fop, but fop is a stupid word. ^^ I don't know that you'll like all of the Susan Kay book, I hated the ending myself, but to each her own. You must tell me what you think, I'm really excited to know...And if you hate Raoul more I'll support you, I hated Kay!Raoul and Kay!Christine.
Hm, I still think he reminds me of my brother.XD
I've never seen a spirited and witty ChristineXD I have always thought little of her...I liked her best in the original, at least she had a temper there.

I am late...again. I'm sorry but I really had not any time.
Yes, PP was a horror but finally I'm ready! I took me three days :P
Yes, everyone smile or if they don't then start to be a hick. And why should I be happy with it? Sorry, I can't take it on the chin.
I have no problem with Satanism *except that it is a 'religion' too*. I have a Satanist friend and he is fly. Here or at least around me being fascist is coooool for teens. And think it's a crap because it's base on the fashion not on their own conviction. You said, they don't think and don't judge just stand.
Yes, Dorian is NOT a fop, but Raoul...yes, word-by-word he isn't but..don't know...I still hate him :P And BTW I finally get the Susan Kay book!!!!!! WOHOOOO!!!! I was screaming through five minutes. On weekend I'll finally have enough time to read it so then I'll maybe transvalue Raoul...but don't think ^^You're right, Erik maybe isn't adorable but I adore him and stupid dictionary...
Raoul reminds of Prince Charming from the Shrek2. Yes, protagonist are almost always boring and calculable except the "Phantom" 's who is really....well, really doesn't.
If PotO would be a happy end *happy and is suck* and after so many adventures Erik and Christine sit down and talk of...what? Christine's dead father or her paranoia? I mean some christines are really spirited and witty but the original..eh...just a little girl.

Oh, PowerPoint...>< I really hate that program, and people have you use it so often...><
That's one thing I hate about America, and I hear that they are nothing like that in France (as long as I can remember people have told me I belong over there, praise be to Loki)...everyone walks down every street smiling, and if you're anything like me (you sound it...) you'll just stare back thinking, "....and what do you want?!" There just has to be something wrong with anyone who insists on looking like a Barbie all the time, with the painted-on expression of blank euphoria. >< Some people can pull off smiling all the time, but only if it's a "I know something you don't" smirk, because that doesn't look stupid. Plastic is a good word for it.
I know, I'm not fascist either...or Satanist (though I was interested in Satanism for a while, so...::shrug:: )...but people will always get that impression from anyone who thinks. It's as my father and I were saying about Lord Henry Wotton. People label him as a Mephistopheles type, but he's not. He says things to make people think, not to make them immoral. >< Because society is full of people who don't think, but will judge you very quickly.
^^ Well, I think that's why I'm bothered when people call Raoul a fop, because a fop is a dandy, and I actually like dandies a lot. Dorian Gray was one, but Raoul is nothing like him. I think in some point of view Raoul could be considered adorable, and I don't think Erik could...but I don't like the adorable types>< And this friend of mine does. She likes Raoul because he's like the prince or knight riding in on the white horse, and Raoul really is just like that. But I never liked the protagonists, they are usually not very multi-dimensional. I'm not a giant Christine fan...I think it's sad that Erik fell in love with someone so naive, because he needs to find someone who can match him, really, and she just can't.

I can just write know, I was quiet busy with my preformance. I have to do it on PowerPoint so my eyes like a fish's.
Intelligent people, yeah...sometimes I really think that it's a nightmare and once I'll wake up somewhere a better place...or worse...I don't care just don't die in a boredom! Here, I feel that everyone smile nad happy and awww. I'm sick of their monotic happiness, of their frost-bitten smiles.
I didn't want to say but you do, so I agree. Yes, I don't really like Amerika. I want nobody to turn rusty - I have some online acquaintance who are American and really nice - but I always feel like America made from...plastic. :P
I'm glad that I could find someone who agrees with me. Yes, Hitler was a man with feelings and habits just he was better and worse than ordinary run of mankind so he became a symbol and everybody forget what he truly was. I heard about this book but of course I can get it nowhere here *cough-policy-cough*. I'm not a fascist, I just like check things out from another point of view.
Yes, Raoul like a...girl. Erik can be, you know, there is a very thin line between a lunatic and a genius, but Raoul...Im laughed a lot at him. You wrote you know a Raoul-fanatic. O_o Well, it's strange, Raoul is a totally average person, I mean he isn't someone adorable or marvellous...like, for example, Erik...^^Unfortunately, i just read some parts of Susan Kay's book :( , so I can't award it. I don't care about Christine but sometimes I don't understand why Erik chose her. Okay, orphan, and singer and everything but then.
Oh, thanks, I'm really thankful. ^^ You did the same, intelligent and free-spoken. You can see my 'love/hate' list, you're as my 'love' person. ^^

Oh, mon Dieu, I sympathise. I've gone to the same school since I was five and have never made a lasting friendship, because I live in a ridiculously small town and everyone is self-righteous and completely philistine, trust me. It wasn't until I made friends online that I met anyone intelligent (one of my closest friends is, as I said, Hungarian...so...^^)...
No, America is not beautiful. It has no age, no sophistication-- there's nothing to it. It's just towers that weren't really made to endure time, and that's not what Europe is at all. It just hasn't got history or character, America. In my opinion, anyway.
Oh, you know, I absolutely hate that. That "all or nothing" thing- so Hitler is held responsible for the deaths of 45 million people, that we know. All of a sudden he goes from being the human with the power to being on his own little level. I read a book by...Ron Rosenbaum, I tihnk, called "Explaining Hitler", and he was convinced Hitler was on this level of inhuman evil- separate from everyone else. Not only is that the sort of attitude that makes it certain someone else will get the chance to let it happen again, but it's sort of a coward's way of removing the blame from the human race. "It's not us, it's just this creature"...So Hitler's paintings and the pictures of him as a baby and the evidence that showed him to love children and little dogs and write poetry and be a brave soldier on the field of battle...all of it is completely ignored. That's disgusting and cowardly, really. I'm not saying that Anti-Semitism is good, of course...but you get that. And in truth, Hitler is just the one people blame because he was the actual dictator, and it wasn't even totally him. ::rolls eyes:: but that's people for you.
^^ I like Raoul, even though he is such a CHILD. (He really reminds me of my brother, I swear he does. But Erik does, too. I just see a lot of similarities there.) Really, he is super juvenile. But then, Erik can be majorly juvenile even though he's brilliant. Then again, Christine is really childish at times herself. Even in Susan Kay's book, she's described as being a child....^^ You'll have to forgive me if I hated the ending of that book. Well, I hated the entire religious theme throughout- that always bothers me in books- and Christine and Raoul were both horrible...I just think she ruined the ending...^^ If you don't, I'm very sorry...I mean, I like Christine, just not in Susan Kay's book (or the musical for that matter...)...
Well, overall, you strike me as being a very cool, dignified sort of person. ^^

Another extremist. Good, at least I can tell you, how much I hate people around me - they're all philistine.
I'm a real European and I don't really want to go America. I mean it must be beautiful, but Paris is the Heaven, I don't want an ocean between us :)
Enemies, yeah, I can yarn....There are tw type of person on the world: one of them always tells his oppinion, another has friends. :)
And here, you can tell your oppinion, too... I'm lost of all sense of shame.
Yes, Hitler paintings are good, but 'some' people don't want to see it....they take a pique aganist him for some reason.
I'm sorry, I'm a hopeless Raoul-hater. In the book he seems so...sissy, for me...but as I often say: 'gustibus non disputandum'. ERIK FOREVER!!!!

...

okay, shoot me.
